Grow with Gaby!

About Gaby

Gaby  is a relationship-driven fundraising strategist, connector, and advisor who has spent more than two decades helping visionary leaders, researchers, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations secure support for transformative ideas.

Her work sits at the intersection of philanthropy, strategic partnerships, neuroscience, education, arts and culture, and emerging fields of human potential. Gaby is particularly recognized for her ability to cultivate authentic, high-trust relationships that lead to long-term philanthropic engagement and meaningful institutional growth.

Gaby has contributed to initiatives connected to higher education, neuroscience research, psychedelic-assisted therapy, arts institutions, and social impact ventures, including efforts related to the establishment of groundbreaking research and therapeutic programs at leading academic institutions.

As a coach and advisor, Gaby helps individuals and organizations become more confident, strategic, and effective fundraisers by teaching the relational and psychological foundations that underpin successful philanthropic engagement.  Her work empowers clients to communicate vision with clarity, cultivate meaningful networks, navigate high-level conversations with confidence, and build sustainable pathways for long-term support.

Known for her warmth, discretion, and ability to connect seemingly disparate worlds, Gaby brings both strategic insight and deep human understanding to every engagement.

During her recent tenure at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, from 2021 and 2025, Gaby raised over $37M for neuroscience research, providing the funding that established The McGill Center for Psychedelic Research & Therapy. Gaby is also spearheading the first of its kind consciousness and intelligence symposium, and the first relational awakening study at The University of Texas at Austin.

Who Gaby Helps

Gaby primarily works with founders, researchers, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and mission-driven individuals who are building new initiatives, launching emerging projects, or bringing ambitious ideas into the world.

Drawing from years of experience working alongside major institutions, academic initiatives, philanthropic networks, and high-level donors, she helps early-stage and developing efforts access the same caliber of strategic thinking, fundraising sophistication, and relational infrastructure often associated with much larger and more established organizations. Her work is especially valuable for leaders with compelling visions who may not yet have the systems, language, networks, or fundraising confidence needed to fully realize their mission.

Gaby is particularly aligned with individuals and organizations operating within social impact, mental health, neuroscience, education, arts and culture, consciousness research, and emerging fields focused on human wellbeing and transformation.

What Makes Gaby's Approach Different

Rather than treating fundraising as a standalone skill or a transactional function, Gaby works from a systems-level understanding of how capital, credibility, research, and relationships flow across institutions, donors, and emerging fields. This allows her to help leaders not only refine how they ask for support, but how they position their work within a broader landscape of influence and opportunity.

What sets Gaby apart is the combination of institutional-level fundraising experience with hands-on familiarity in niche, high-trust environments, particularly within neuroscience, mental health, psychedelic research, and adjacent wellness and consciousness spaces. She understands both the formal structures of major philanthropic and academic institutions and the informal networks where early momentum, credibility, and access are often formed.

This dual perspective enables her to bridge worlds by helping emerging initiatives operate with the strategic sophistication of established organizations while staying grounded in authentic relationships and real-world alignment.

The Outcomes Gaby Helps Create

Gaby's work goes beyond teaching traditional fundraising tactics or helping clients prepare for individual asks. Her focus is on fundamentally shifting how leaders engage with relationships so that fundraising becomes a long-term, trust-based ecosystem rather than a series of repeated, transactional requests. Clients learn how to move from constantly “asking for support” to cultivating ongoing alignment with individuals who are genuinely invested in their mission over time.

The result is the development of a durable donor and supporter pipeline, one rooted in trust, clarity, and relational depth. Rather than short-term fundraising bursts, clients build a network of aligned relationships that continue to grow, deepen, and compound. Gaby helps leaders create the conditions where support becomes more organic and sustained, enabling them to focus less on chasing funding cycles and more on stewarding a community of committed long-term partners.

What to Expect When Working with Gaby

Engagement typically begins with a focused series of four one-hour personalized sessions, giving dedicated time to clarify goals, identify priorities and opportunities, and start applying those insights in real time.  This initial commitment allows time for discovery, alignment, and getting to know one another.

From there, the work is designed to evolve into an ongoing advisory relationship, where Gaby becomes increasingly immersed in the client's mission, priorities and long-term success. The goal is for the initial sessions to transition into an ongoing monthly partnership, allowing Gaby to develop a deeper understanding of the work and serve as a trusted, highly engaged collaborator, with the consistent access and continuity needed to stay closely connected to and invested in the work.
